Urukk Blades was founded in 2022 by Jesudas Puthumana, an artist and Mechanical Engineer from Kochi, Kerala, India. Previously, Jesudas worked as a Project Manager on construction projects in the Middle East. At Urukk Blades, he focuses on creating artisanal knives, including customizable hand forged kitchen knives, with a particular emphasis on Japanese style kitchen knives, catering to the demand for premium knives in India.
